Given that this restaurant is a Gaucho Restaurant, it really ought to overlook the Rio del la Plata but the Thames provides an excellent stand in. Certainly, this Canary Wharf restaurant offers some of the best river views to be had in London. The interior is also light, spacious and contemporary. Naturally red meat is the speciality here but as well as steak this South American restaurant provides a selection of fish, chicken and vegetarian options cooked to with authentic herbs and flavourings to traditional recipes.

Please note this restaurant does not take any bookings larger than 8 diners on Friday and Saturday evenings.This restaurant gets very busy at lunchtimes. Please try to book at least 1 week in advance.

Recension

We visited Gaucho Canary Wharf for our team's Christmas lunch. Being my first visit & a vegetarian(!) I was like a fish out of water but thoroughly enjoyed the experience nonetheless. My team (all carnivores) took a great deal of time to choose their steaks with the assistance of our very helpful waitress. My butternut squash risotto was lovely & I'm told the steaks were very good. A big thumbs up from all (altho from a veggie point of view I'll suggest somewhere else next year!)

Gaucho Canary Wharf, highly recommend it. Service was great, the staff were all very friendly. Food was sooo good, really appreciated the good quality meat (and other food groups). A little expensive for us to be regular diners but definitely worth it. I'm recommending it to all my meat-loving friends.

I took my friends for the birhtdays dinner and we all enjoy it. Food was good, a little expensive for us to be regular diners but definitely worth it. I'm recommending it to all friends. Definitely worth to come back.
